Sales Career Resource Guide

This was inspired by a conversation with a good friend and co worker. In any career there need to be some for of career planning. With that in mind we’re creating a career assement and planning guide specifically for sales people.

So nothing is forever. Not even the greatest sales job and certainly not the worst sales job either. This guide is being developed to help those of you who might be in the same place we’ve been…not sure where your career is going. You might be there for a variety of reason from intellectual curiosity to industry changes. Maybe your boss is a jerk, you can’t seem to get ahead when it comes to making money or there just doesn’t seem to be The information you’re about to read isn’t a magic bullet, its not going to provide you with incredible wealth and a euphoric sense of personal accomplishment. Instead it’s going to do the exact opposite. It’s going to ask some hard questions and make you think. It might cause you to lose a little sleep and be just a bit uncomfortable.

Below you’ll find a simple online survey. The questions and input wasn’t designed by academics. It wasn’t created at a University and isn’t intended to put you into a box that says good or bad. It was developed with the input of the best sales people and sales managers we’ve known through out our careers. By truly amazing people who live, work, and breath sales in the real world every day and are driven to their success by a desire to make money and serve their customer’s needs.

Eventually the responses to the questions that will have come from all of the people good enough to give us their input will be used in creating the Sales Career Resource. The survey and questions will change from time to time and are intended to give us addition anonymous input and perspective on a sales career in addition to what we’ve gather from from friends, co workers and colleagues.
